Case Study
A closer look at our partnership with NHS Employers, and why this way of working shines.
We’ve been working with NHS Employers for over 4 years, and it’s been (and continues to be) a true collaboration and partnership.
We’ve done everything from live-scribing big visuals during online conferences, to agenda design for breakout groups and creating spot illustrations for social media.
So we’ve been chatting with our wonderful client Aliya Reyman, Programme Lead - Staff Experience at NHS Employers, to shine a light on what makes a successful and longstanding partnership.
So how exactly does this longstanding collaborative partnership work?
It all started with a project 4 years ago, and our teams worked together so well that we’ve been able to build a trusted and longstanding relationship with NHS Employers.
We pride ourselves on working creatively and collaboratively with a team, so when we come together with our clients, not only are we an extension of their team, but we become the greatest team in the world.
We’re now NHS Employers' go-to when it comes to anything visual, and they look to us and our expertise to guide the best way to make the most impact for each project.
Here’s what Aliya says about why our partnership works:
“I feel so proud of the work we've done over time. I think a big contributing factor to why it’s successful is that you're open to seeing what’s possible, we explore options together. That's what has made this a success over all the different projects.”
Our openness to learning, curiosity, and excitement at what’s possible with each project is what we love. Having a partner who trusts in the process allows us to shine and deliver outstanding work.

No two projects are the same, which means our approach is different every time. This not only makes for interesting and varied visuals, but by working collaboratively and getting our creative juices flowing, our client gets the full scope of what we can deliver.
Here’s what Aliya said about how we strategised for a project:
“You are a thinking partner for us, and you really helped elevate the overall agenda and structure. You thought about how we could engage participants, how the visuals could complement the work, and about the longevity of the visuals and the kind of messages we wanted to share.
Lim has always gone above and beyond the brief. The brief was producing visuals for us but you did so much more than that. And it was just so fantastic for us.”
We always think about the bigger picture of visual working, and how our visuals will enable conversations, information, and understanding.
Aliya and the team were hosting their annual online conference. Lim supported by creating a digital workbook that participants were sent and it was designed to flow alongside the agenda.
We thought about all angles of the event and how we could engage the audience. We turned an intangible idea into a tangible product that the client loved and everyone found inspiring. We created something that wasn’t just engaging in terms of conversation, but something that people could take away with them.
Our number one priority always is to help companies get stuff done by visualising what they talk about. A lot of the way work is grounded in group process and facilitation, so we can dive into the detail whilst keeping an eye on the big picture, and we listen to all points of view. We know every person involved in creating a visual has a unique perspective and we showcase this.
Aliya says:
“Lim becomes an extension of our visual impact. You're making really complex conversations and videos super digestible and easy to understand which is invaluable to the NHS. It really helps us communicate our key strategic messages.”
That’s just it, we’ll always strive to become an extension of your team to be able to work in this truly trusted and collaborative way.
“You’re super innovative. You guys are experts. I know I can trust you. I feel confident that you're going to elevate the stuff that we're doing.”

We’re often approached for one-off projects, but a trusted ongoing relationship means that both sides get the maximum benefits and results.
Our relationships are so important to us, and we always take time to know the team. We always like to check in on a personal level rather than diving straight into the work. How else do you collaborate if you don’t know the people you’re working with?
Not only that but we deliver real results. Here are just some of the things we’ve achieved with NHS Employers:
We’ve successfully made impactful visuals that engage and inspire
They had overwhelmingly positive feedback from people attending the event
Our visuals are their most engaged social media content
We’ve made difficult content into digestible visuals that everyone can understand
And that’s what makes them come back to us again and again.
You make the most difficult and complex conversations so easy for people to understand. I put your visuals up on a screen and people just get it. That is magical. The power of visuals it's amazing.
Thanks Aliya. We’re already looking forward to the next project. Watch this space.

Linney had a stand at The Event Production Show 2024 and was offering attendees live problem-solving sessions. Lim maximised the impact of these by bringing the conversations to life in a visual way.
