Graphic Recording and Playbook
For the fourth year running, The Meetings Show (TMS) invited Lim to help light up the 2025 event, both on stage and behind the scenes. Our goal? To create large-scale live visuals at the Blank Canvas Stage and craft a visually rich playbook using Snapsight, a real-time insight capture tool that TMS was using throughout the event.
Together, we set out to spotlight the brilliance that was unfolding across the speaker stages and transform it into a glowing resource; designed to spark reflection, action and after-event conversation.
How Lim Shone a Light
We brought real-time thinking to life, illustrating discussions live on a cardboard wall, staying true to our sustainability beliefs. Using refillable Neuland pens and quick minds, our team captured key themes and ideas as they emerged.
Every drawing helped light the way for audience understanding and kept energy flowing throughout the space.
As the sessions unfolded, we used the insights gathered by Snapsight for TMS across the speaker stages, then wove them into a vibrant visual Playbook.
Grounded in TMS branding and brought to life using our visual language, the Playbook became a keepsake speakers were proud to be featured in, and a go-to resource for participants long after the event lights dimmed.
The Lim team worked seamlessly alongside the event crew, becoming a true extension of the TMS team.

“How To Maximise Your Event Content With Live Visuals”
Ellie took to the Blank Canvas Stage to share how visuals can unlock deeper engagement, clarity, and connection. Here's what she spotlighted:
🧠 If you're not working visually, you're leaving value in the air.
Visuals capture the intangible; making ideas, challenges and decisions visible so they travel beyond the room.
🌀 Think visually before, during and after an event.
Live visuals aren’t just for the main stage moment, they light the path through the full journey.
🫶 Support everyone to shine.
Visual thinking isn’t only for creatives, it helps different types of thinkers and communicators feel seen, heard, and valued.
Here’s a highlight from the event where Ellie shares why visual thinking should be central to the way we gather, talk and take action:
🔍 They make meaning visible
Visual capture translates abstract ideas into images and words that help people understand, remember and act.
🤝 They invite participation
Live visuals reflect the room in real time. People light up when they see their contributions illustrated, and by working visually you create shared ownership of the conversation.
🌠 They create an afterglow
From stage walls to take-home Playbooks, visuals extend the life of the event, turning insight into action well beyond the final applause.
From the live Blank Canvas visual to the last page of the Playbook, coupled with Ellie’s talk, which contributed insights for events organisers looking to make their content go further, Lim's visuals illuminated The Meetings Show 2025.
What happens in the room doesn’t have to stay in the room. With visuals, it travels.
Drawing live what speakers say
Ellie Chapman, Lim’s Founder, was invited to the Entrepreneurs’ Forum annual conference: Together We Can Take on the World. While attending the event, Ellie had an idea up her sleeve to do what Lim does best and shine a light on the information shared on the day by creating a sketchnote of each speaker session on her iPad.
Delivering something unique over a series of events
We’ve been working with Haymarket Media Group to deliver visuals for three different C&IT events.
Each event was different, and we brought something unique to each one. As our trusted working relationship developed, we were able to expand our creative ideas and deliver something different each time.
